Dr. Mike Landry grew up in South Louisiana. He was saved at 11 and answered the call to ministry at 15. He has a Doctor of Divinity from Louisiana Baptist University.
Mike served as a missionary to Romania and while there God used him to start three churches and a Bible Institute. Through the SBC North American Mission Board, he was a church planter to Hawaii. Bro. Landry, pastored several churches in Louisiana and Texas.
In addition to serving as our Interim Pastor, he is a consultant in church revitalization for the Southern Baptist of Texas Convention. He and his wife, Connie, travel throughout the state of Texas. They have 3 children and 5 grandchildren.
