Preschool to High School
Our Next Gen ministries include children and students ages 0–18, preschool through high school. In all these ministries, we have the same mission: to bring glory to God by making disciples through gospel-centered worship, gospel-centered community, gospel-centered service and gospel-centered multiplication. Because we believe that Scripture is clear that parents are the primary disciple-makers in the lives of their children, our hope is to partner with parents in their pursuit of this mission, coming alongside them in the discipleship process. We do this in many ways, but especially through the various resources that we create. These resources help build a strong, gospel-centered foundation for their kids.
Family Discipleship
God calls the family to play a vital role in discipling the next generation. How this is accomplished varies from family to family and is as unique as the DNA of each home. Family discipleship isn’t one-size-fits-all, and it isn’t easy—even the most intentional of Christian parents may find themselves at a loss as to how to begin. We want to come alongside parents to help them craft their own approach to family discipleship. Though each family is unique, we believe that vibrant family discipleship can take shape through family worship and a framework of time, moments and milestones.
Family Worship
We encourage families to worship together during our weekend services. This is especially true for middle school and high school students, as we hope to integrate them into the life of the church where they can live out our mission with their parents and other adults. As a way to introduce this idea, we do Family Worship Weekend once a quarter, encouraging families to worship together in a special service.
Preschool (Birth-Pre-K)
In our Preschool ministry, we strive to create the first building blocks of a strong, gospel-centered foundation for our children. We teach from the Scriptures about who God is and what He has done through Jesus Christ. On Sundays and Wednesdays we teach Biblical truths, focusing on these three truths: God is our Creator, God is good, God sent His Son to cover our Sin.
Elementary (K-5th)
In our Elementary ministry, we continue building up a strong, gospel-centered foundation for our children. We teach our kids about the nature and character of God-that He is wise, generous, loving and good. Our desire is to partner with parents in the discipleship of their children by creating the environment, curriculum and resources that center on the gospel of Jesus Christ. Each Sunday we worship through song, stories from the Bible, large and small groups times by age to talk about Scripture together and Q and A about what we have learned.
Student Ministry (6th - 12th)
Our Student Ministry is a place for students to have fun, find friends and explore their faith. Leading students to develop a faith of their own in Jesus Christ is the goal of our ministry. As the students grow in age and love of God and Scripture, our student ministry helps them to own their faith, live out their faith and lead others. Leading students to develop a faith of their own in Jesus Christ is the ultimate goal of our ministry. Our hope is to partner with parents in helping students go deeper with each other, their leaders and, most importantly, God.
