My name is Steven Nguyen. I am married to my beautiful wife Megan and we are both from and live in Dallas, Tx. I am a graduate of Southern Seminary with a Master in Divinity in Biblical Counseling and I am a current Master of Theology student at Western Seminary in Portland, Oregon. I am also pursuing certification with the Association of Certified Biblical Counselor as a Certified Biblical Counselor.
I have the absolute pleasure of serving as the Student Pastor at The Lakes Church. I’m also a Health and Physical Education Teacher in Dallas ISD. Along with these two roles, I have the pleasure and honor of serving as an IMA Reserve Chaplain in the United States Air Force Reserves.
My hope for The Lakes is that every student in Sachse, Tx and our region will come to know and live out their faith during and well beyond their middle school and high school years. My prayer is that all of our leaders, students and families are marked by the gospel forever because of how God is working in our congregation.
