I am the Children’s & Nursery Director here at The Lakes Church. I resumed this position June of 2019, although I have been in Leadership in Nursery, then Children’s Ministry, consistently since September 2004 here at The Lakes. I married my high school sweetheart, and we have 2 grown sons, who gave me 2 beautiful daughter in laws. I also have 2 teenagers, a boy and a girl, who keep me young; and a 6 yr old daughter who is teaching me to take life 1 day at a time. We have lived in Sachse since 1998.
I have a passion for children because I believe if you reach a child with the Gospel, the love of Jesus Christ, and understanding of His love for us, it will of course change their eternity. But I also believe it will change the course of their entire life. My goal is for every child entrusted with us to know Jesus as their personal Savior and to have fun in the process of learning about Him. I over-see an amazing team of dedicated volunteers who love children and desire to see them grow in a strong relationship with God. We want them, as adults, to look back on Church with happy memories of a place where they knew love, acceptance, hope, and safety.
